Next Saturday 11\/8\u00a0is food collection!\u00a0Please wait until\u00a0after\u00a09am to\u00a0begin collecting the bags in your unit&#8217;s assigned territory. If possible, we encourage you to publicize the bag collection on social media (Facebook, Next Door, etc.) with a reminder to have the donations set out in a visible location prior to 9am Saturday.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Food donation collection sites will be open for drop-offs from\u00a0<strong>9:00am\u20141:30pm<\/strong>\u00a0at the following locations on 11\/8:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>South Narcoossee Collection Site in Osceola County (*NEW this year*)<br \/>\n5750 Nova Rd, Saint Cloud\u00a0<br \/>\nSite coordinators: Arthur Polnasek 321-689-7447 and Greg Filak 703-963-6394<\/p>\n<p>North Narcoossee Collection Site: STU Import\/Export (*aka The Popcorn Warehouse *) 5105 Patch Rd., Orlando 32822<br \/>\nSite coordinator: Sonia Tzabery\u00a0954-610-3669<\/p>\n<p>Second Harvest Food Bank<br \/>\n411 Mercy Drive; Orlando, FL 32805<\/p>\n<p><span><span><span>Please try to drop off at one of the Narcoossee Collection sites, as we will not have a district representative stationed at Second Harvest to record your number of bags. If you find it necessary to drop off at Second Harvest, please text\/email\u00a0SFF Chair Sonia Tzabery (954-610-3669,\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"mailto:ScoutAggie@gmail.com\">Sonitzascout4@gmail.com<\/a>) <span>with the number of ~7 pound bags your Unit collected.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>If your unit has SFF bags leftover, you can turn them in at one of the district collection sites, bring them to Round Table, or you can hold onto them until next year. Note that there is not a specific date listed on the bags, so they can be used in future years!\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nThank you in advance to those who have volunteered to help out at the collection sites. We could still use a few more volunteers! If you can help, reach out to one of the site coordinators above. Unit representatives are requested to stick around to help when you drop your collected items.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, we will need volunteers from each of the areas to act as runners to pick up bags that were not collected.\u00a0 (This typically happens because they were not set out in time.) \u00a0We will reach out to each of you individually should that be needed.\u00a0 Please have at least one runner identified. See explanation above.)<\/span><\/span><\/span><br \/>\n\t<span><span><span>Select all scouts who have completed a given service activity (checkmark on left of name)<\/span><\/span><\/span><br \/>\n\t<span><span><span>Click \u2018Record Progress\u2019 (located on gray bar) and then \u2018Service hours\u2019\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><br \/>\n\t<span><span><span>Identify the date of the service project on the calendar, then click \u2018Create New Activity.\u2019<\/span><\/span><\/span><br \/>\n\t<span><span><span>Complete the fields for project information, location, and details.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><br \/>\n\t<span><span><span>Indicate amount of participation hours using the \u2018basic\u2019 if everyone did the same number of hours. (They are NOT responsible for planning the event.)
