The Scout is now responsible for requesting letters from references.\u00a0 More information is available here:<\/span>\u00a0https:\/\/www.scouting.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Eagle-References-Pre-and-Post-January-1-2025.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n District Eagle BOR Requests<\/strong>: With multiple volunteers now serving as Eagle BOR District Reps for the Northern portion of the District, we are no longer able to maintain a list of available EBOR dates and instead need Units to provide available dates when requesting an EBOR via<\/span>\u00a0narcoosseeadvancement@gmail.com<\/a>. A Scout may make this request, but must have coordinated with and cc their Unit Advancement Chair when doing so. Volunteers can help out for 1\/2 a day, 1 day, a few days or all 5 days. General\u00a0information for volunteers and volunteer registration can be found\u00a0on the event page for Central Florida Council Cub Scout Day Camps<\/a>. For questions about needs and open positions at a specific Day Camp, email the Camp Director for the session of interest. Narcoossee District Cub Family Campout and Pioneer Games!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n This camping event for cub scouts and their families will be a grand celebration of our founding families, and a great way to celebrate being thankful with our Cub Scout community. There will be settler and pioneer themed games, a dance party, crafts, thanksgiving meal and sides contest, and so much more. Location is Moss Park.\u00a0<\/p>\n This district event is covered (paid for) through the Council Program Fee that is paid with membership renewal, so you can expect low or no cost to participate. \u00a0<\/p>\n More details and registration coming in Fall 2025!<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <!– <\/p>\n –><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <!– <\/p>\n –><\/p>\n <\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <!– <\/p>\n –><\/p>\n \t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n We would like to invite you to the Narcoossee District Roundtable, which is\u00a0typically be held on the third\u00a0Thursday of every month at Center\u00a0Point Community Church<\/span> (9580 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, FL 32825<\/a>).\u00a0Doors open for gathering at\u00a06:30pm, and opening flag is at\u00a07pm. Roundtable is a great way for Scout leaders to share ideas, network and get information about our Council and District. Ideally, every unit should try to have at least one leader attend every month so that you can take what you learn to your Units!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n This month’s May<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Roundtable\u00a0<\/strong>will be held on <\/span>Thursday 5\/15\/25 <\/strong>and will feature the <\/span><\/span>2025-2026 Program Kickoff!<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>This special Round Table is designed to support unit leaders (including youth leaders) with learning about local opportunities for Scouting units in preparation for planning the 2025-2026\u00a0Scouting year. In addition,\u00a0attendees will be among the first\u00a0to learn about our new district coin. Narcoossee District is hosting two sessions of Cub Scout Day Camp this summer! The theme is\u00a0INVENTION CONVENTION<\/strong>!\u00a0Cub Scout Day Camp offers boys and girls entering 1st through 5th grade in the 2025-26 school year a full week of FUN and exciting activites related to the Invention Convention theme.
