Latest news and updates from the Narcoossee District of Central Florida Council BSA.<\/span><!–<\/p>\n \t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n View this email in your browser<\/a> \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <!– <\/p>\n –><\/p>\n \t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Warm congratulations to the following scouts in the Narcoossee District who earned the Eagle rank in March 2024!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Tyler Thompson, Troop 175 <\/span><\/p>\n <!– <\/p>\n –><\/p>\n \t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Come cast your vote for the Narcoossee District Patch at the Narcoossee District Round Table meeting on April 18th. The design with the most votes will become the\u00a0official<\/span>\u00a0patch of the Narcoossee District.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Kudos to the amazing artists who have contributed designs (above). All three are so good, it is a really hard choice.\u00a0<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <!– <\/p>\n –><\/p>\n \t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Troop 173\u00a0(boys)\u00a0has three crews going to Northern Tier, and two seats have opened up.\u00a0We are looking to fill with qualified scouts (boys) or a scout\/parent pair (parent must be registered BSA leader, but can be male or female).\u00a0We will depart Orlando June 6 and return 14.\u00a0 Our itineraries will be in the US, so no passport is needed.\u00a0 Please contact ASM Mike Stefanelli at\u00a0<\/span>mjsgiants@aol.com<\/span><\/a>\u00a0or (973) 420-5043 for details. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <!– <\/p>\n –><\/p>\n \t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n District banquets for the former Osceola and Colonial districts are scheduled in May to honor and celebrate the achievements of the former districts’ scouts and scouters in 2023. These will be the final events of the former districts that merged to become the current Narcoossee District. You are invited and encouraged to attend the banquet of the former district with which you were affiliated in 2023! If you are interested in getting involved in\u00a0the administration of the district, contact the Narcoossee District Chair, Ron Randolph, at\u00a0Ron@RonRandolph.com<\/a>.<\/p><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <!– <\/p>\n –><\/p>\n \t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\n We would like to invite you to the Narcoossee District Roundtable, which will\u00a0typically be held on the third\u00a0Thursday of every month at Centre Point Community Church (9580 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, FL 32825<\/a>).\u00a0Doors open for gathering at\u00a06:30pm, and opening flag is at\u00a07pm. Roundtable is a great way for Scout leaders to share ideas, network and get information about our Council and District. Ideally, every unit should try to have at least one leader attend every month so that you can take what you learn to your Units!<\/span><\/p>\n This month’s April\u00a0<\/span>Roundtable\u00a0<\/strong>will be held on Thursday, 4\/18\/24<\/strong>. This event will be held May 3-5 at Camp La-No-Che.
