Stan Richards has taken his place as our new Colonial District Advancement Chair starting January 1, 2023. Jeff and Stan have been working together to restructure the District Advancement process. This is on track to roll out in mid-January. The two major changes being made are as follows:

1. The Eagle Project Workbook review process and District approvals will have the option of personally meeting with a District Advancement team member by appointment. As in the past, the Life Scout may decide to do this process electronically or in person.

2. Eagle Boards of Review will have an appointment system for the date and time. And they will all be held at the same location. Troops are encouraged to send their own representatives for their EBOR. If the Troop is not able to provide representatives, district representatives can be available.

It is our goal to make this process more personal and streamlined for all Troops no matter their size or location. We hope these two changes will make it far easier for Life Scouts to achieve the goal of Eagle Scout. We ask all Scout Leaders to positively support these changes to the District Advancement process. We understand there may be special cases. It is our intention to work on these rare circumstances on a case-by-case basis. We hope this streamlined process makes it easier and more efficient for everyone involved.
